Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about our resilience services

What is your approach to stress reduction and how does it work?

My approach combines evidence-based psychological techniques with practical lifestyle strategies. I use a blend of:

  • Mindfulness-based stress reduction techniques
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) methods, including the Ellis ABC model
  • The Transtheoretical Model for sustainable behaviour change
  • "The Perfect Day" methodology - implementing stress-reducing habits gradually

The goal isn't to eliminate stress entirely, but to help you develop resilience, change your relationship with stress, and build practical coping strategies that work in real life.

What services do you offer and how are they structured?

I offer a stack of options depending on where you are:

• Breaking Point Session — a single 90-minute diagnostic for when things have hit a wall and you need clarity fast

• Reset Track — three follow-up sessions, spaced two weeks apart, to turn that clarity into an actual change

• Grounded & Rising Coaching — a six-session program (1:1 or small group), built around GPS Foundations, Vision & Purpose, Long-Term Goals, GPS & Reroute, and Tasks & Action

• Resilience Club — an ongoing €47/month membership with a full course library and worksheets you can return to anytime

Most people start with either a Breaking Point Session or the Resilience Club, depending on whether they need something now or want an ongoing resource.

What is "The Perfect Day" methodology you mention?

A structure built around three daily checkpoints — Morning Anchor, Midday Reset, and Evening Close — paired with 12 practical habits that fit around them rather than a rigid hour-by-hour schedule. It’s designed to be started with just one checkpoint, so it doesn’t add to the overwhelm it’s meant to fix.

How long does resilience coaching typically take?

• Grounded & Rising Coaching (1:1 or small group) — 6 sessions, 2 × 50 minutes each

• Reset Track — 3 sessions, 50 minutes each, spaced two weeks apart

• Breaking Point Session — a single 90-minute session

Most clients see initial shifts within 2–4 weeks, with more significant change developing over the course of the program.

Is your programme suitable for severe stress or burnout?

My work is built for business owners running a small team (roughly 2–15 people) who are functioning day-to-day but running on empty — not for acute crisis. I work with:

Business owners carrying the pressure of every decision alone

Owners managing a small team who feel like the pressure runs through them

Anyone whose days feel like they’re running them, rather than the other way around

Important: If you’re experiencing severe depression, having thoughts of self-harm, or unable to function in daily life, please seek immediate support from a mental health professional or your healthcare provider first. My programs complement but don’t replace clinical treatment for serious mental health conditions.

What can I expect in my first coaching session?

Your first session is about understanding where you actually stand and creating a clear path forward:

An honest capacity check — GPS Foundations, not an idealized view of where you “should” be

Identifying what’s actually driving the pressure, not just where it shows up

Mapping your Current Location and Destination

Setting a concrete first step, not a full overhaul

Each Grounded & Rising session consists of two 50-minute units; the Breaking Point Session is a single 90-minute session structured the same way.

Do you include practical techniques like meditation and movement?

Yes — practical, accessible techniques you can use immediately, drawn from the Resilience Club worksheet library:

• Silent Alarm — recognizing your early stress signals before they escalate

• Stress Somatic Awareness — noticing where stress shows up in your body

• Stress Bucket — tracking what’s filling your capacity before it overflows

• Wired But Tired Reset — practical steps for the specific exhausted-but-can’t-switch-off state

• Cortisol Trap — understanding and interrupting the physiological stress cycle

All techniques are explained in plain terms and adapted to your situation — no prior experience with any of these tools is required.

What makes your resilience coaching different?

This isn’t about pushing harder — it’s about building the structure that makes everything else sustainable:

• Built for business owners specifically — not generic leadership or wellness coaching, but work shaped around running a small team where the pressure has nowhere else to go

• Grounded in named psychological research — concepts and frameworks are cited by name, not generic “evidence-based” claims

• Psychologist-led — I’m a Dipl.-Psych. health and traffic psychologist, not a certified coach without a clinical background

• Gradual implementation — the Perfect Day framework starts with one checkpoint, not a full life overhaul

• A full stack, not one-size-fits-all — from a single 90-minute session to ongoing membership, matched to what you actually need right now

This online format allows for flexibility in scheduling and eliminates travel time. All you need is a reliable internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone.

What if I've tried stress management before without success?

This is a common concern, and there are usually specific reasons why previous attempts didn’t work.

My approach is different because:

• Deep, personalised focus: We identify what’s specifically driving the pressure in your business, not a generic stress checklist

• Gradual implementation: The Perfect Day framework prevents overwhelm by starting with one checkpoint at a time

• Evidence-based methods: Grounded in named psychological research, not generic advice

• Built for your reality: Frameworks are shaped around running a small team, not a general “leader” or “professional” audience

• Sustainable foundation: Focused on building structure that lasts, not a quick fix

The key is understanding that behaviour change takes time, and working with your actual capacity rather than against it.

Do you provide materials or exercises between sessions?

Yes! I provide comprehensive materials and exercises to support your progress, drawn from the Resilience Club library:
